Destructions!

This is the four prints of the first images and set up how I would present them hung on another board with the hand and the little monster saved and added to the piece.

My final piece is my representation of what is actually in the bottom of every woman's purse hidden among a ton of black fabric, some of it sheer to help the viewer see whats hidden inside.

I cut off another corner of the wooden board, detached and reattached the fabric and covered it in paint and black tissue paper to make it look like the inside of the purse with the girl's hand reaching in. There's a little monster hidden in the corner.

I cut off the bottom part of the board and covered the rest in fabric. Here is an image of a girl rummaging through her purse with the emphasis of the piece on the background which is supposed to emulate the purse itself.

I then took away one of the boards as my first element of "destruction." Here I attempted to paint two hands and some knees sitting cross-legged while holding a three dimensional purse that I built to be about three inches off of the surface of the board. I added more tissue paper too.

My first piece began with a painting of my gigantic red purse. I used tissue paper, tissues, and paper towels with a thin papier-mache mixture to make my first textured surface on my two wooden boards.
